Surface
Preparation
Abrasive blast
clean to Sa 2.5 SIS 05 5900 (SSPC SP10).
Surface defects should be ground, filled or
treated in the appropriate manner. If required
for temporary coating, use suitable shopprimer.
All damage of shopprimer and contamination from
storage and fabrication should be thoroughly
cleaned.
Application
Conditions
The temperature of
the substrate should be minimum 100C/500F.
Also where application and that of the paint
itself must also be above this limit. Apply only
on dry and clean surface, free from any
contamination. Provide adequate ventilation
during drying and application in confined spaces.
Subsequent
coat
Epoxy system or
according to specification.
Remarks
The maximum
overcoating interval is dependent on the
integrity of the exposed film. After exposure in
contaminated environment, clean the surface
thoroughly by high pressure fresh water and allow
to dry.
Precautions
This product is
flammable, keep away from heat or open flames. As
general rules, inhalation of solvent vapors or
paint mist and contact of liquid paint with skin
or eyes should be avoided.
Forced ventilation
should be provided when applying in confined
spaces. Respiratory, skin and eyes protection are
always recommended.
